Summertime is here!
We took over the private room above Bistro Aix last night to learn about different wine regions throughout California and what we should be drinking all summer long. We started off with the ultimate aperitif - bubbly (Iron Horse 1998 Blanc de Blancs). From there, Gwendolyn Wilson guided us through some great summer sippers. While the Siduri 2003 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir was my personal favorite,I think the Fess Parker Frontier Red Lot 61 stole the show. A blend of a whopping 9 different varietals, this is the perfect bbq wine…and only $10! This will definitely be my house wine all summer.
