Silver Oak Release Party + Domaine Chandon

[ July 20, 2010 to August 7, 2010. ] Sat., August 7th, 9am-6pm

The Silver Oak Cellars Release Day party is quite simply, one of the best wine events of the year. Silver Oak produces some of the very best and most sought after Cabernet Sauvignon in the world…and they know how to throw a great party!

We’re headed back to their Napa Valley Oakville Estate property for their Summer Release Party at their newly rebuilt and stunning winery. On Saturday, August 7th, Silver Oak will showcase the release of their 2006 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Guests can taste unlimited quantities of this sensational wine at this one-of-a-kind party.

You will also have the opportunity to taste rare library wines as well as the excellent wines from their sister winery, Twomey. There is no ordinary tasting experience with tents full of wine, fun people, live music, great food and lots of warm sunshine.

On our way home from Silver Oak, we will stop by Domaine Chandon to end the day as all civilized people should – with a glass of Calfornia’s best bubbly on their sprawling, tree shaded lawn!

We will provide luxury bus transportation through (definitely a day to have a driver!), a bagel breakfast, bottled water and visits to the Silver Oak Release Party and to Domaine Chandon. The admission to the Silver Oak event is NOT included (purchase on site), however, their price now includes fresh made doughnuts in the morning, a full gourmet wine country lunch in the afternoon, commemorative wine glass, and reusable Silver Oak tote bag.

We will depart San Francisco at 9am sharp from the corner of Lombard & Fillmore streets and return at 6pm. Get ready for one of the most memorable and flat out FUN days you’ll have all year. Be sure to sign-up early as this event is extremely popular and sold out well in advance last year.

If you’ve ever been to France or Italy, you know all about the magical feeling that washes over you as you enter their shores. The people, food, culture, nightlife, beaches and WINE of these two countries are unrivaled.

THE DRAMATIC SETTING
We are thrilled to bring the Uncorked community to the historic, beautiful and sexy Bimbo’s 365 Club (est. 1931), providing the perfect backdrop for these wines of distinct history and quality. This stunning venue is conveniently located in North Beach – a perfect end to a days work with over 100 of the best wines from France and Italy.

THE ITALIAN WINE
On the Italian side you’ll try a wealth of different styles from all over Italy including:
