Final Summer Event
We’ve saved the best for last for our final large event of the summer with our annual tasting of South African wines. We return to the majestic Officer’s Mansion in Fort Mason overlooking the bay.
Did you know that South Africa has been making wine for over 300 years and is the seventh largest producer of wine in the world? More importantly, they are making absolutely world-class wines. The top importers of South African wines will be on hand providing a wide array of all the best the country has to offer.
You’ll sample over 60 wines from all the top wine regions including the Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschoek, Walker Bay and Constantia. In addition to Chardonnay, Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and Pinot Noir, you’ll try their wonderful Chenin Blanc and Pinotage.
Rounding out the evening, AG Ferrari will provide a wide array of artisan cheeses, meats and olives to complement the wines, while DJ Sol adds his signature smooth lounge grooves.
