Seminar: The Wines of Oregon & Washington

Perhaps you’re looking for an alternative to the wines of Napa & Sonoma? Maybe you’ve been hearing about how good the wines from the Northwest are? No matter your reason, come join us for this intimate educational seminar (25 people max) in the private loft area of the beautiful new Circa Restaurant & Lounge. Former Wine Spectator star educator Gwendolyn Wilson will take you on a memorable tour of these two very important and up and coming wine regions.

Beyond them apples from Washington and Oregon’s hazelnut farms, lies the blossoming wine industry of the Pacific Northwest. Come explore this delightful area with us as we take you on a tour through the two states that are producing some of the best wines of the country. Washington State ranks #2 in wine production in the US and is producing world-class Syrah and Merlot. Oregon is Pinot Noir Land and the only region other than Burgundy to have a sole red focus on Pinot Noir. The states are widely different in style and varietals but they both excel in quality. We’ll taste the typical and the atypical and teach you how to pick the best of the bunch.
