Tour de France
It’s hard to believe, but it’s taken almost one year for us to host an all French wine evening. More world-class wines are produced in France than anywhere in the world. In fact, for many centuries other countries have been duplicating French winemaking practices.
While other countries produce extraordinary wine, France is still the heart of the wine world. The Tour de France tasting will please oenophiles and neophytes alike, but purchase early, as we only have room for 150 people at this event.

French wine labels and regions, however, can be confusing. Please join us as we take you on a countrywide journey to help demystify French wine and introduce you to their finest wine regions. You will try the great whites of the Loire Valley and Alsace, White Burgundy (chardonnay), Red Burgundy (pinot noir) and Champagne.
We’ll introduce you to some fine Bordeaux’s and let you compare and understand the difference between a Left Bank and Right Bank wine. Traveling farther South we’ll experience the hearty reds of the Northern and Southern Rhone Valley along with the up and coming regions of Provence and the Languedoc and Roussillon. And what is all the talk about ‘terroir’? We’ll explain.
Amongst the top wineries represented will be Louis Latour, E. Guigal, Bouchard Père et Fils, Jean-Luc Columbo, Perrin, Château St. Cosme and Laboure Roi.
To complement this old-school wine region, we’ll bask in the old-school ambiance of the swank Ambassador club, harkening back to the classic days of the Rat Pack. Light hors d’oevres will also be served.
